Meet Emmanuel Mwendwa!
Emmanuel was born to a mother who suffers from mental illness. Though her family has tried to help her, she is difficult to control and they don’t always have the funds to cover the medications she needs to take. Emmanuel’s elder sister took over much of his care. He was malnourished and at risk of harm from his mother. MCF was able to take in him and his sister so they can get proper nutrition and feel safe from harm.
