Meet Esther Karisa!
Esther is the sixth of eight children. Her parents both work as casual laborers but the wages they earn are not enough to satisfy the needs of the family. Some of her elder siblings had to drop out of school to work to contribute to the family’s income. Esther would also have suffered this fate but MCF intervened and now she has the chance to go to school. Her ambition is to become a nurse one day.
