Meet Gabriel Mwatsuma Deche!
Gabriel is the only boy and the first of three children. His father works as a fisherman, and his mother is a housewife. His father’s income is not enough to provide for their family’s needs. On days when his father does not catch any fish, they go to sleep hungry. Gabriel is hopeful that in the future he will deliver his family from poverty. He enjoys playing soccer and would like to become a police officer.

Vipingo Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
