Joylene

Meet Joylene Mumbe Wanza!

Prior to 2021, Joylene was living with her parents and two younger brothers in Nairobi. Sadly, her mother became very ill and was diagnosed with cancer. As her health continued to worsen, their father and his family abandoned the family. The mother and children moved back to their maternal home. Neighbors and well-wishers helped them as much as they could but the mother’s condition worsened and in May 2024, the children were brought to the Mully Campus. In July, their mother passed on. Joylene is undergoing grief counseling and is determined to do well by taking advantage of all that the Mully Family can offer in order to make her mother proud. She enjoys singing and wants to be a doctor so she can help others who are sick.
