Meet Magdalene Wayua Katunge!
Magdalene is the second born of four children. She was born to a single mother who was HIV+ and became too sickly to care for her children. Magdalene’s elder brother dropped out of school to beg for handouts for the family. Through MCF’s community health outreach program, the family was helped. The children have joined the Mully Family and their mother is getting medical attention. Magdalene is polite and gentle. She hopes to become a nurse one day so she can help others who are sick. She enjoys singing.
