Meet Sarah!
Sarah is the fourth of seven children. Her parents struggled to provide basic needs. In the region where she lived, child education is not a priority. Instead, she would be given to the first promising man who asked for her hand in marriage. Sarah became pregnant but the father refused responsibility. She was rescued into the Mully family at six months pregnant. She feels accepted now and is surrounded by love for her and her son, Fabian.
Sarah's Unmet Needs
Malindi Vocational School Program
MCF Malindi provides residential care and rehabilitation to vulnerable girls including street girls, child prostitutes, child laborers, child mothers with their babies, orphaned children, school dropouts, internally displaced children as well as abused and abandoned children. The Vocational Training Center offers hairdressing, beauty therapy, tailoring, and dressmaking for those who have been rescued.
